Week of Respect October 2021
This week our staff and students participated in Week of Respect. This week exposes students to a curriculum that focuses on positive conflict resolution skills, anti-violence, tolerance, bullying prevention, as well as various school-wide activities. Everyday is an art day, but Thursdays is the day of week that Mr. Grant after school for VPA club, or Visual and Performing Arts. Art provides an opportunity for students to express themselves further, and create art, that they may not get a chance to do during the school day. He educates students about the different careers in the art, as well as assisting them in preparation for their high school auditions. So VPA club is a very fun, exciting, and informative club. Come express yourself through Visual or Performing Arts.
Start with Hello!
Whether you say Hello, Hola, Bonjou, or Bonjour, a greeting opens the lines of communication and possibly friendship. During the Start with Hello campaign, students created posters that emphasized positive, welcoming messages. Click this link to see their artwork.
